Engineer for Modelling & Simulation (m/f)

Your responsibilities

  • Support of the product development and the production-related technologies (extrusion blow molding and stretch blow molding) via numerical simulations
  • Conduct structural analysis by implicit and explicit FEM simulations as well as numerical thermal simulations
  • Validation and characterization of simulation parameters and process parameters based on experimentally gained data
  • Validation of FEM models via experimentally gained data
  • Interpretation and documentation of numerical simulations, model setups and simulation results
  • Improving of numerical simulation capabilities for global technology application and product development
  • Collaboration within interdisciplinary and international project teams

Your competencies and qualifications

  • Technical background and completed technical degree (University or FH degree)
  • Knowledge in FEM method, CAD or CAE are essential for this position
  • Fluent German and English skills
  • Team player, convincing, open minded and service oriented
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and project-oriented work style
  • Willing to and experienced in working within an international context
  • Interest/knowledge in packaging and plastics industry
