Planning and Logistics Manager

Your responsibilities

  • Responsible for production planning and capacity analysis
  • Responsible for inventory accuracy and reporting
  • Managing interface between plant and customer for forecasts and ordering input
  • Working with customers for securing delivery service quality
  • Maintaining appropriate inventory levels for produced goods and raw materials
  • Ordering master batch and raw materials
  • Recording daily figures to compile month-end reports
  • Managing warehousing and transportation
  • Managing Logistics Department
    • Recruiting (with HR) new employees
    • Developing/coaching team and performing disciplinary actions
    • Overseeing all training of the department
    • Performing performance evaluations on a regular basis
  • Ensuring safe and efficient running of department
    • Keeping invoicing up-to-date
    • Updating records and reports on a regular basis
    • Data analysis: Synthesize data and analyze trends to support Plant Manager

Your competencies and qualifications

Education/Experience:

  • Min 2 year Degree (Associates) in related field or equivalent, 4 year degree (Bachelor Degree) preferred
  • 3 to 5 years of general logistics experience (production planning)
  • Excellent computer skills (Excel, Power Point, Word)
  • Excellent numerical skills
  • Knowledge in using specific Logistics systems
