Process Technician

ALPLA INC. / Florence / Kentucky / United States / Production

Your responsibilities

  • Ensure all assigned machines are operating safely, efficiently and reliably, according to recommended operating guidelines
  • Ensure quality product is being produced at all times
  • Ensure process is optimized to the fullest extent
  • Ensure all raw materials required are available and defect free before being put into machine
  • Monitor and report inconsistencies in above areas for all shifts not worked
  • Should be able to make minor repairs to molders
  • Assist the Production Manager in implementing required training for Machine Operators
  • Supervising orderliness, cleanliness and working order of the assigned machines and tools

Your competencies and qualifications

Experience Preferred:

  • Plastics Processing in Extrusion, Stretch or injection molding or thermoforming
  • Experienced in either Toolmaking, mechanic or electric/electronic systems

Qualification/Skills:

  • Able to work in Team environment
  • Able to train technical personnel
  • Effectively manages time as a resource; gives balanced attention to appropriate long-term and short-term priorities
  • Must have flexible work availability
  • Ability to prioritize, plan and execute duties with minimal supervision
  • Able to lift up to 60 lbs. and stand for a minimum of 10 hours
