Operational Excellence Coordinator

What you will enjoy doing

  • Design, evaluate and execute programs for implementation at the plant level
  • Execute and coordinate improvement projects and KAIZEN workshops 
  • Verify new tools & methods; support local process owners in their efforts to implement and sustain at the plant level
  • Ensure that official tools/reports/systems are used correctly
  • Train local leaders on OPEX assessment; give a diagnose of the current situation in the operation and moderate the execution of improvements
  • Create/review/disseminate Good Practices across the region
  • Support Quality Assurance programs to include execution of regional internal audits
  • Leverage RCA methodologies to identify corrective actions and implement preventive actions for OPEX, Quality and Safety topics.
  • Travel up to 60%

What makes you great

Education/Experience:

  • BS - Engineering or STEM based discipline
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment supporting manufacturing in lean management

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Analytical; systemic thinking
  • Systems experience - business process mapping (APMM), production data management system (CTO), SPC systems (CAQ), enterprise planning and logistics systems (AlplaPROD), document management systems (QDMS), complaints management database (CCH), MS Office Suite
  • Moderation and training
  • Strong social and communication abilities
  • Project management
  • Lean management
  • Leadership and personnel management (behavioral economics)
  • Strong sense of personal accountability and ownership (entrepreureal spirit)
