Global Mold Supply Chain Manager (m/w/d)

At ALPLAinject, we support leading brands worldwide with innovative injection molding solutions. To strengthen our global growth, we are looking for an experienced leader to drive our mold supply chain strategy and further develop our internal toolmaking network as a key competitive advantage.

In this global role, you will shape mold technology, capacity, and make-or-buy strategies while collaborating closely with internal tool shops, procurement, operations, sales, and project management teams across the world.

• Lead and further develop ALPLA's global internal toolmaking network.
• Balance mold manufacturing capacity and demand across internal tool shops and external suppliers.
• Drive improvements in lead times, delivery performance, productivity, and tooling capabilities.
• Develop and execute the global mold capacity, technology, and lifecycle strategy.
• Manage tooling costs, budgets, and should-cost models to support make-or-buy decisions.
• Act as a key contributor to investment decisions and strategic tooling initiatives.
• Partner closely with Solutioning, Sales, Project Management, Operations, and Procurement to deliver competitive tooling solutions.
• Prioritize tooling projects based on business impact, customer requirements, and strategic objectives.
• Build strong international teams and develop tooling expertise across locations.

• Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, or a comparable field.
• 8-10 years of experience in toolmaking, mold manufacturing, or tooling program management within an industrial environment.
• Proven leadership experience in international organizations.
• Strong understanding of injection molding processes, tooling technologies, and mold lifecycle management.
• Excellent combination of technical expertise and commercial acumen.
• Strategic mindset with strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate across functions and cultures.
• Fluent English skills; German is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 40-50%).
