What you will enjoy doing
As a Product Data Architect – Digital Lifecycle Integration at ALPLA, you will manage the design, integration, and governance of product-related master data across various systems and lifecycle stages. Initially, you will lead the Product Master Data stream within the global ERP project scale+, establishing a strong foundation for future data management. Long-term, you will create a future-proof digital product data chain spanning systems like PLM, ERP, and Quality Management.
Main Tasks / Responsibilities:
- Lead the Product Master Data stream within the global ERP project scale+, coordinating with key stakeholders.
- Design and optimize product master data processes for materials, finished goods, moulds, custom equipment, and raw materials.
- Ensure seamless integration of product-related data across systems such as PLM, ERP, Quality Systems, and manufacturing execution systems.
- Analyze and prioritize department-specific requirements for master data and product information management (PIM).
- Collaborate with solution architects, business analysts, and external consultants to ensure integrated product data flows.
- Lead test planning and data migration activities for the Product Master Data stream.
- Act as the main contact for business units on master data topics, ensuring user training and process adoption.
- Support change management initiatives related to master data and product data flows.
- Coordinate with other ERP project streams and system owners for smooth data integration.
- Develop and advocate for standards, governance principles, and best practices around digital product data.
- Serve as a trusted expert on product master data across the organization.
What makes you great
- Strong background in business analysis, data modeling, or solution architecture related to product data or master data management.
- Experience in ERP projects (SAP, D365 or equivalent) and/or PLM system environments.
- Ability to design and optimize complex cross-system data processes.
- Analytical, structured, and detail-oriented approach with a focus on business needs.
- Solid project management skills; capable of leading cross-functional teams.
