Dynamics Support Specialist - Finance
What you will enjoy doing
- Responsible for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 FO) support at ALPLA for users in Europe, Middle East & Africa region, with a strong focus on finance processes, ensuring continuous knowledge transfer and system optimization
- Single point of contact between headquarters D365 team and the regional / local key users
- Provide first-level and functional support for Finance-related tickets (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank, Cost Accounting, Tax, Intercompany)
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes from a system and process perspective
- Coordinate with the corporate D365 team on release planning, finance-related enhancements, and regulatory updates
- Identify improvement opportunities within financial processes and proactively propose system-based optimizations and automation initiatives
What makes you great
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics AX / D365 Finance & Operations, preferably with a strong Finance module focus
- Deep understanding of financial processes including General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Accounting, Inventory valuation, and financial reporting
- Experience in manufacturing environments is a strong advantage
- Proficient in English (written and spoken)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain financial and system processes clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Structured, independent, and hands-on working style
- Flexibility and willingness to travel occasionally, if required
