Your responsibilities

  • Direct and control the staff of the department to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and trained to carry out their responsibilities to the required standards.
  • Develop and implement personnel policies to support business goals and ensure that the company complies with legal requirements and best practice.
  • Define the quality standards to be applied in the management of the company’s staff and monitor these to ensure that a high quality personnel service/s continues to be provided to/by the company.
  • Develop, implement and monitor all required personnel procedures relating to staff terms and conditions of employment to ensure that the company complies with legal requirements and best practices.
  • Provide comprehensive personnel advisory service to all company managers and staff to ensure that the company follows best practice in the management of its staff and to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • Research and develop personnel policies which will ensure that the company recruits and retains pool of well-trained and highly motivated staff.
  • Provides an employee relations service to the company, including negotiating with employee representatives on personnel issues, ensure that harmonious relationships and effective communications are maintained between management and staff
  • Identify company’s staffing needs and develop policies and procedures to ensure that the required numbers and types of staff are recruited within the agreed budgets and meet operational requirements.
  • Develop and maintain remuneration strategy and appropriate terms and conditions of employment to ensure that the company is able to attract, retain and motivate staff.
  • Advise the senior managers of the company about the personnel policies, procedures and actions required to ensure that the company makes the best use of its employees
  • Develop and maintain all necessary training policies and procedures to ensure that all staff are trained and developed to the standards required.
  • Ensure that effective communication of all company related policies, procedures and regulations related to HR and Admin Management
  • Ensure on-time processing and payment of employees’ payroll management
  • Contribute to the development of strategies that will help to achieve the organizations’ mission and core objectives.
  • Ensures that the company complies with and practice the ISO standards and defined policies and labor laws.

Your competencies and qualifications

  • Graduate of 4-year Social Sciences and/or Management courses or any related course (BS/AB Psychology, BS Industrial/Organizational Psychology, BS Human Relations, Business Management); MBA is a plus factor but not required
  • With 5 years progressively responsible experience in managing human resource and administration operation in a generalist function and exposure
  • Must be knowledgeable in handling the various functions of management specially the 4Ms of management (Man, Machine, Methods and Materials)
  • Work experience and decent knowledge in recruitment, training and development, compensation and benefits including payroll management, employee and industrial relations, organizational development and general affairs administration preferably from manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledgeable and updated on different labor laws and promulgated proclamation under DOLE, SSS, PHIC, HDMF and other related SC rulings.
  • Exposure and ability to use HRIS/Payroll Software System is an advantage
  • Excellent leadership and management skills and able to counsel erring and demotivated employees
  • With high sense of commitment and responsibility on job tasks and ability to work under pressured environment knowing the utmost meaning of accountability; willing to learn new things and open for challenges
  • Highly analytical, quick and positive mind over operational concerns and troubles; with high sense of professionalism at any given time and circumstances
