Junior Project Manager - Smart Operations (all gender)

  • Lead and support the global rollout of Smart Operations solutions to enhance Operational Excellence.
  • Coordinate with IT and operations teams to ensure site readiness and successful implementation.
  • Deliver training, streamline workflows, and validate digital tools such as MES, ERP, and BI systems.
  • Identify and support process improvements and digital initiatives along the supply chain.
  • Define requirements and manage feature requests using agile methods in close collaboration with IT partners.
  • Ensure user adoption and sustainable integration through clear communication and support.
  • Participate in pilot projects to test and roll out new technologies.

What makes you great

  • A university degree (Bachelor or Master) in IT, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Data Science or a related technical field
  • Hands-on experience in project management, ideally with knowledge of agile methods like SCRUM
  • Strong analytical thinking and a solid understanding of process optimization
  • Confident communication skills and a collaborative mindset – you're comfortable working with people at all levels
  • Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies such as IIoT, machine learning, and connected factory concepts
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with MES, ERP, and BI systems; knowledge of PLC/SCADA, MS SQL, Python, Power BI, or M365 is a plus
  • Fluency in English and German; other languages are a bonus
  • Willingness to travel internationally – up to 70%
  • Most importantly, you bring a true passion for manufacturing and a drive for Operational Excellence
