Maintenance Technician - Auxiliary

• In-depth knowledge in mechanical and electrical technology
• Proficient in using computer and engineering application software and the ability to learn how to execute it
• Able to read and interpret electrical drawings is an advantage
• Knowledge and background in ISO, GMP, HACCP, 5S and Safety are needed
• Good communication skills in order to properly relay concerns related to maintenance and operation
• Good intrapersonal and interpersonal skills in order to relate well with people from different levels and even from different departments
• Good English language skills (oral and written)

1. Inspect all equipment and auxiliaries on a daily basis for detection of unusual noise, vibration, wear, and for anything abnormal.

2. Report immediately to immediate superior for appropriate analysis and corrective action.

3. Coordinate with immediate superior for the daily activities and maintenance plan schedule.

4. Attend to any breakdown affecting the operation and carry out trouble shooting and repair in an effective, resourceful and professional manner.

5. Repair and maintain auxiliary equipment such as air compressors, chillers, cooling towers, dryers and other related equipment in the plant.

6. Assist in the yearly overhauling of air compressors, chillers, cooling towers, dryers, transformers, electrical distribution panels, and others. 

7. Perform building maintenance and repairs throughout the facility such as (but not limited to): painting, plumbing, electrical, civil, and others.

8. Responsible for safekeeping of maintenance hand tools and equipment.

9. Conduct daily water analysis and record consumption of water and electricity Inform his immediate superior if there are problems with the water supply.

10. Do startup/shutdown procedures to all auxiliary equipment, pumps, valves, etc. before and after long stop from Production.

11. Responsible for operating and maintaining the pump station, which includes the RO unit and Water Softener Unit. In charge of replenishing all chemicals needed for the continued operation of the pump station including both the RO and Water Softener.
