Head of Apprenticeship

• Participation in the strategic development of apprenticeship training with regard to training requirements, new occupations, performance evaluation, etc.
• Introduction of new ideas and innovations in the training department, as well as the further development of the training concept
• Ensuring apprenticeship training through training methods that meet technological requirements and prescribed job profiles and are complied with in accordance with the law
• Imparting theoretical knowledge as well as practical specialist knowledge in accordance with the training framework plan for industrial training occupations
• Conducting technical discussions, appraisal interviews, training courses and safety briefings for trainees
• Creation of framework conditions that promote the apprentices' willingness to learn and their willingness to perform
• Targeted applicant marketing, selection and recruitment of apprentices
• Carrying out the necessary external contacts with parents, schools, authorities, institutions and other training companies
• Maintenance of training equipment, machines, tools, etc.
• Member of examination committees and working groups
• Employee management and personnel development
• Budgeting, investment planning and cost controlling
• Planning and creation of work processes, rotation plan of the apprentices in Shanghai and Taicang
• Coordination of trainers in the departments

Education/Experience

• Completed technical education / apprenticeship / vocational training is an advantage
• Experience in the industrial-technical field
• Apprentice trainer certificate
• Structured way of working
• Communicative and assertive personality
• High willingness to undergo further personal development
• Enjoyment of dealing with young people
• Sound IT skills in MS Office, SharePoint and PowerBi
• Excellent written and spoken English skills are a must
