General Manager Accounting Service Hub Europe

What you will enjoy doing

  • Oversee the Accounting Service Hub, providing financial services to regional legal entities.
  • Further develop the service of the organization in the designated region within the next years, with an estimated team size of 80 employees.
  • Ensuring operational stability and efficiency during the expansion of SSC structures while simultaneously minimizing risks associated with the implementation of new processes and organizational changes.
  • Lead the team, inspire employees, and foster a high-performance culture rooted in service excellence.
  • Manage the accounting team, align financial processes with strategic goals, and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Optimize processes by implementing best practices in financial management, technology, and task allocation.
  • Address challenges proactively, resolve conflicts, and organize training and coaching programs for employee development.
  • Ensure compliance with all accounting and transactional processes, adhering to financial regulations.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and senior management to maintain high service quality and cost efficiency.
  • Participate in business travel, engaging directly with key business partners and regional units.

What makes you great

  • Experience: At least 5 years managerial experience in an SSC or BPO environment, combined with 5 years of expertise in accounting, finance, or other administrative operations.
  • Education: Master's degree in finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
  • Shared Services Setup: Familiarity with establishing functional structures within multinational enterprises.
  • Transformation & Optimization: Proven track record in process optimization, transformation projects, and quality management.
  • Technology Proficiency: Fluent in MS Office, with a strong understanding of ERP systems for accounting
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of IFRS, US GAAP, and Polish accounting standards.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Experience managing regional finance teams, optimizing workflows, and driving efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong communication skills for collaboration with internal and external partners.
  • Languages: Fluent English (C1/C2) required; Polish and German is a plus.
