Global Quality Manager ALPLAinject (all gender)
What you will enjoy doing
As Global Quality Manager ALPLAinject, you will be responsible for ALPLA's injection moulding quality organization. You ensure the standardization and harmonization of quality assurance processes for injection moulding across all regions, define quality standards, KPIs, and systems, and drive a sustainable Zero Defect Mindset. Acting as the global quality ambassador, you strengthen customer partnerships.
- Promoting a company-wide quality mindset through training, workshops, and global improvement programs
- Establishing and continuously improving quality standards for injection molding (IM), including testing methodologies, inspection frequency, equipment, and software—based on thorough analysis of current practices and external benchmarks
- Overseeing the establishment and maintenance of stable, high-performing quality processes at plant level, aligned with world-class standards in quality, delivery, and cost—guided by management-by-objectives principles
- Building close relationships with strategic injection moulding customers, negotiating quality agreements, and ensuring professional complaint management
- Contributing to quality-related activities linked to product development in close collaboration with the product development team (DFM, FMEA, product and mold qualification, AQPS etc.)
- Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and alignment with Corporate Quality initiatives
What makes you great
- A university degree or higher education in a technical or quality-related field, combined with solid professional experience in quality assurance within the injection moulding manufacturing industry (preferably in regulated industries such as food, beverage, or pharma)
- Deep understanding of injection moulding and the respective quality standards, processes, methods and tools
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with confidence in customer interactions
- An analytical and dynamic style, combined with strong training and facilitation skills
- Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate complex topics clearly and concisely
- Flexible work location within Europe
- High flexibility and willingness to travel internationally
