General Manager China

Main Responsibilities:

1.ALPLA Identity and culture enhancement

• Execute the cultural survey in the country following the corporate guideline
• Yearly review Our Identity, Our promise and Our Principles   
• Continuously improve and develop company Identity and Culture in the country

2.Co-operation with the plants and the regional headquarter

• Sales activities and customer service
• Budget planning and specification of focal point 
• Reporting and target / actual comparison
• Investment decisions 
• Presentation of the market (market analyses) and own position
• Strategic orientation and research objectives 

3.Economic success of the country

• Responsible for business plan approval and its realisation
• Commercial engagement
• Professional reporting and bench marking

4.Contact and support service for customers are in the core of activities

• Customer visits, periodical meetings,  ...
• Acquisition of new customers and market cultivation
• Master agreements and co-ordination of production capacities

5.Coordination of the plants in the country

• Use of synergies and resources
• Machinery and means of production of the plants
• Human resources (Orgnization development, talent and personnel development…)
• Support for the plant manager
• Strategic procurement for the country
• Building up local partners for purchasing und maintenance

Education/Experience:

• Master degree or MBA Degree in Engineering or business management related fields
• At least 20+ years of related experience in manufacturing company, preferably in the plastics packaging industry
• Fluency in English is a Must, Mandarin is a Plus.
