Senior Demand Planner
What you will enjoy doing
- Monitor all received orders and notify managers of production requirements to ensure all production orders are met.
- Ensure production schedules are effective and appropriate to meet production targets.
- Maintain planning responsibilities, including but not limited to scheduling deliveries, keeping records, and compiling daily production plans for two plants to ensure timely production orders.
- Follow up on returnable packaging with the client using the adequate system, including Eurolog, for tracking and ensure the details are accurately recorded for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Lead communication and coordination for delivery arrangements, production plans, and sampling requests with related functional department managers.
- Develop and maintain demand planning processes and systems, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to incorporate market intelligence and promotional activities into the demand planning process.
- Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and other relevant information to develop accurate demand forecasts.
- Identify and manage demand variations and risks, implementing contingency plans as necessary.
- Prepare and present demand forecasts and inventory projections to senior management.
- Continuously improve demand forecasting accuracy and develop strategies to optimize inventory levels.
- Support the implementation of new planning tools and systems, providing training and guidance to relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards in all planning activities.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand planning and inventory management.
What makes you great
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.

Strong knowledge of demand and production planning concepts.

Expertise in Rough-Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) and capacity constraint management.

Proficient in statistical forecasting methods to drive accurate demand predictions.

Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle.

Solid understanding of inventory management principles, including safety stock and reorder point logic.

Advanced skills in Excel, including Pivot Tables and Power Query for data analysis.

Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, financial planning, and cost awareness.

Knowledge of returnable packaging tracking systems, specifically Eurolog.

Exposure to FMCG and industrial manufacturing environments.

Ability to coordinate with customers to ensure forecast and order alignment.

Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Warehouse, Production, and Finance teams.
