Product Designer
What you will enjoy doing
- Responsible for the planning and execution of assigned design tasks in line with project team.
- Creation of production-oriented design concepts or design solutions within customer specification/briefing.
- Leading and participating in design meetings together with the customer, at ALPLA site or at customer site.
- Creation of visually appealing design presentations to convey the design idea/intent.
- Actively participates in improving internal processes and workflows.
What makes you great
- Degree-level education, background of Industrial design or design related (Bachelor's or equivalent).
- Experience in plastics engineering/manufacturing process beneficial.
- Proficient in 3D CAD Systems (Siemens Unigraphics NX preferred), Keyshot and Adobe Creative Suit.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Three years of experience within a design team, either in a company or agency.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Ability to work independently within a global design team, incorporating own skills together with company experts, engineers and project leaders.
- Attention to the highest level of detail and commitment to superior design quality.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret highly complex documents.
