Regional OPEX Manager (m/ f/ d)

As Regional OPEX Manager, you will drive operational excellence across the region by developing people and capabilities, strengthening performance management, and delivering sustainable business impact.

In this role, you will lead the regional OPEX agenda and guide the implementation of our OPEX program across multiple countries and plants. Acting as the functional leader of the local OPEX Managers, you will combine operational expertise, leadership, and transformation capabilities to improve performance, reduce costs, and strengthen a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.

• Driving operational performance through KPI management, structured performance reviews, and sustainable improvement initiatives
• Developing a strong continuous improvement culture by building capabilities, strengthening problem-solving competencies, and fostering ownership across the organization
• Leading and coordinating all regional OPEX and Smart Operations activities while supporting the development of local OPEX Managers
• Identifying performance gaps, inefficiencies, and optimization opportunities through structured plant analyses, benchmarking, and operational reviews
• Driving cost efficiency and value creation through cross-plant initiatives focused on materials, labor, energy, and process optimization
• Establishing high standards in problem solving, root cause analysis, and improvement project execution
• Promoting digitalization, automation, and data-driven decision-making to improve operational performance and process efficiency

You are passionate about improving performance and developing organizations. You are equally comfortable discussing operational challenges on the shopfloor, coaching an OPEX Manager, facilitating a problem-solving workshop, or driving change across multiple locations.

• University degree combined with several years of experience in manufacturing, operational excellence, lean management, supply chain, or process improvement
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, operational KPIs, and performance management systems
• Practical experience with continuous improvement methodologies, structured problem solving, change management, and project management
• Proven experience leading teams, developing people, and building organizational capabilities across multiple sites or countries
• Strong analytical skills combined with a hands-on and pragmatic approach
• Experience with digital tools, automation, reporting systems, or data-driven performance management
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills in an international environment
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a solid understanding of business cases, cost structures, and value creation
• Fluency in English and high willingness to travel within the region
