Executive / Senior Executive – Mechanical Maintenance (IMPET Machines)

Key Responsibilities

• Attend and troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns of IMPET injection molding machines.
• Diagnose and repair issues related to hydraulic, pneumatic, clamping, and injection systems.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
• Inspect, repair, and replace mechanical components such as bearings, cylinders, pumps, valves, couplings, seals, and guide mechanisms.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure maximum machine uptime and productivity.
• Support machine overhauls, shutdown maintenance, and improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, TPM, and 5S practices.
• Monitor spare parts consumption and support inventory management.

Technical Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Hands-on experience in injection molding machine maintenance, preferably IMPET/HYPET machines.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings.
• Knowledge of alignment, fitting, assembly, lubrication systems, and condition monitoring techniques.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Documentation Skills

• Ability to prepare and maintain breakdown reports, maintenance logs, and shift handover reports.
• Experience in documenting root cause analysis (RCA), CAPA, and preventive maintenance records.
• Proficient in preparing maintenance SOPs, checklists, and equipment history records.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint for reporting and data analysis.
• Experience with SAP/CMMS maintenance systems is preferred.

• 5-8 years of hands-on experience in mechanical breakdown maintenance in manufacturing industries.
• Experience in PET preform injection molding machines will be an added advantage.
• Capable of independently handling critical machine breakdowns.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.
• Effective communicator with good english speaking and report-writing abilities.
