
PRODUCTION MANAGER
What you will enjoy doing
- To ensure a smooth, safe and efficient production operation. To maintain highest standards of safety, quality and productivity on the production floor.
- Lead the production area, production team, he/she make sure that all production related processes are running efficiently
- Cooperate closely with Maintenance, Quality, Planning and Sales departments in order to: maintaining support of production machines and equipment, assuring of quality check & controls by operators during production & for permanent improvement of processes, quality standards and operational excellence
- Develops production schedules, directs and assigns duties of manufacturing personnel
- Analyzes and interprets data received daily and prepares management and financial reports for production meetings as well as for month-end reports
- Interacts with the shift supervisors regarding production related problems to solve them
- Ensures efficient shift hand-over
- Prepares shift schedules
- Performs disciplinary actions with HR support
- Assesses training needs of staff and ensures execution of training linked to qualification of employees
- Responsible to act according to legal requirements, ensure a health and safety work environment as well as implement all requests from external audits and certifications.
- Ensures health and safety regulations are adhered to
- Participate actively in the budget preparation.
What makes you great
- Completed technical education
- Technical/Engineering background
- 3 to 5 years production management experience in applicable technology, preferably in the plastics processing industry
- Thorough understanding of Health and Safety practices
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and leadership competence
- Problem solving skills and high grade of flexibility and stress resistance
- Advanced English skills are necessary (spoken & written)
- MS Office Skills (Excel, Word, etc.)
