Health & Safety Administrator

We are seeking a proactive and organised Health & Safety Administrator to support our Health & Safety team in maintaining and improving our Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) systems, policies, and procedures.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within Health & Safety, particularly in a fast-paced manufacturing (FMCG) environment.
Key Responsibilities: Health & Safety Administrator
- Provide administrative support to the Health & Safety team, ensuring records, systems, and data are accurately maintained and monitored.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of HSE systems, initiatives, and campaigns.
- Assist in delivering employee training, including inductions, toolbox talks, and ELMO Safety Training.
- Promote a positive safety culture by encouraging the reporting of accidents, incidents, near misses, unsafe acts, and conditions.
- Support initial preparation for accident, incident, and near-miss investigations.
- Maintain and update internal and corporate HSE systems, ensuring accurate data collection, reporting, and analysis.
- Conduct hazard spotting, eSBOs, and safety/environmental inspections in line with site KPIs and objectives.
- Assist with contractor control processes, including maintaining databases and reviewing documentation.
- Manage PPE stock levels and distribution across the site.
- Liaise with suppliers and external stakeholders where required.
- Attend and take minutes for monthly Health & Safety Committee meetings.
- Track and monitor action plans to ensure timely completion.
