PRODUCTION MANAGER

What you will enjoy doing

  • To ensure a smooth, safe and efficient production operation. To maintain highest standards of safety, quality and productivity on the production floor. 
  • Lead the production area, production team, he/she make sure that all production related processes are running efficiently
  • Cooperate closely with Maintenance, Quality, Planning and Sales departments in order to: maintaining support of production machines and equipment, assuring of quality check & controls by operators during production & for permanent improvement of processes, quality standards and operational excellence
  • Develops production schedules, directs and assigns duties of manufacturing personnel
  • Analyzes and interprets data received daily and prepares management and financial reports for production meetings as well as for month-end reports
  • Interacts with the shift supervisors regarding production related problems to solve them
  • Ensures efficient shift hand-over
  • Prepares shift schedules
  • Performs disciplinary actions with HR support
  • Assesses training needs of staff and ensures execution of training linked to qualification of employees
  • Responsible to act according to legal requirements, ensure a health and safety work environment as well as implement all requests from external audits and certifications.
  • Ensures health and safety regulations are adhered to
  • Participate actively in the budget preparation.

  • Technical/Engineering background 
  • 3 to 5 years production management experience in applicable technology 
  • Thorough understanding of Health and Safety practices 
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and leadership competence  
  • Problem solving skills and high grade of flexibility and stress resistance 
  • Advanced English skills are necessary (spoken & written) 
  • MS Office Skills (Excel, Word, etc.)
