Accounting & Financial Affairs Manager

The business owner supports the CFO in all Accounting and Finance related matters. The Accounting & Financial Affairs Manager provides a high level of accuracy in monthly reporting and leads the finance and accounting team. He/She works in close cooperation with the relevant departments at AMET, facilitating the implementation and fulfillment of the requirements.
- Maintaining general accounts and controlling the journal entries,
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and revenue accounts,
- Being responsible for cost management reports,
- Managing the fixed assets entries and depreciation calculations on the ERP system
- Being responsible for tax declarations,
- Identifying and explaining variances,
- Acting as a business partner to other departments on financial issues and decisions,
- Performing accounting analyses and reporting on a monthly basis,
- Perform accounting analysis for cash accruals, account payables, account receivables, reconciliations, and foreign exchange,
- Provide leadership in maintaining accurate and timely statutory accounting operations,
- Ensuring compliance with legal and accounting standards, norms, and procedures with company procedures,
- Being responsible for month-end closing activities and reconciliations,
- Planning and executing the month-end and annual financial closing processes
- Monitoring and analyzing and reviewing all balance sheet items,
- Develop and realize process improvements,
- Develops best practice accounting solutions,
- Preparing ad-hoc reports for the leadership team.
What makes you great
- Bachelor's Degree in related fields (Business Administration, Economics etc.),
- Good knowledge of Accounts Payable processes,
- Minimum +10 years of experiences in an industrial environment including knowledge of planning, budgeting and KPI management,
- Certified Public Accountant and Financial Advisor certificate,
- Solid knowledge of Accounting and Reporting Standards,
- Strong relationship building skills, complex thinking ability and creative problem-solving skills,
- High affinity for numbers and IT supported reporting systems (advanced Excel skills),
- Excellent command of written and spoken Turkish&English language skills are a must.
