OPEX Cluster Lead (Balkan Adria & HU) m/w/d

As OPEX Cluster Lead, you play a key role in implementing ALPLA's Operational Excellence (OPEX) strategy across multiple production sites within a defined cluster. You enable plants to improve performance sustainably by combining hands-on project leadership, lean coaching, and strong stakeholder collaboration.

Roll-out of NEXT, ALPLA's Operational Excellence Program in the region, including:

• Implementation of new management tools and standards
• Preparation and tracking of improvement projects
• Preparation and moderation of OPEX assessments

Lead and coordinate sustainable improvement projects in

• Manufacturing
• Maintenance
• Energy Efficiency
• Operational Waste

Support budgeting at regional and plant level:

• KPI planning,
• capacity, resource planning
• investment planning

Execute trainings and workshops focusing on lean & Six Sigma tools, operational controlling, and effective collaboration.

• University degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field
• Several years of experience in Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, or Lean Manufacturing
• Green Belt Certification in Lean Management or Six Sigma is considered as a plus
• Focus on priorities, with a structured approach to execution, clear milestones, and consistent follow-up
• Natural ability to guide and align others through clear expectations, ownership, and result orientation
• Strong commitment to developing people through coaching, feedback, and stretch assignments
• Proficient in English and Croatian, with German being an advantage.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the working time
