Production Technician
What you will enjoy doing
- You are responsible for the effective management of all blowing activities and the optimum utilization of available resources in the production to ensure the attainment of planned production volume of standard quality products at the least possible cost.
- You directly handle production personnel and all improvements related to product quality, operator skills, machine utilization and other resources covered to improve productivity.
- You review daily, weekly and monthly trends of all key indicators for operating deficiencies such as waste & downtime. Subsequently, you formulates corrective actions in areas that need improvement to ensure continuous optimization.
- You act as a recognized Safety Head on the production floor and manage an aggressive safety improvement effort. Zero Accidents is our ultimate goal.
- With our Planning departments you review planning schedules regarding operations and needed maintenance.
What makes you great
- Minimum qualification Diploma (CIPET background preferred)
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in EBM
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the manufacturing and distribution efficiency
- Ability to handle a large and tight volume with a dynamic planning schedule
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Knowledge of 5S, Operational Excellence and Health & Safety are an advantage
- Good command of written and spoken English
