Shift Supervisor

Job Responsibilities:

Production and Productivity

• Lead shift production operations to meet daily targets/KPIs.
• Handle mold/tool changeovers, mechanical adjustments, troubleshooting, and fine-tuning to ensure optimal machine performance.

Quality Control & Material Management

• Ensure all products meet quality standards and SOPs in direct coordination with the QC team.
• Manage shift inventory, raw material consumption, waste control, and follow up on quality complaints/NCRs.

Shift Handover & Reporting

• Oversee clean shift handovers, reporting production figures, and escalating any operational deviations or equipment issues to the Production Manager.

Team Leadership & People Management

• Schedule manpower, allocate shift resources, and ensure team adherence to company policies and training plans.
• Address shift concerns and review employee issues with management.

HSE & 5S Standards

• Maintain strict health, safety, and SOP compliance across the shift.
• Implement and enforce 5S standards on the shop floor.

Education

• High School Diploma or 2 years technical degree. 

Experience

• Knowledge of plastics injection molding equipment, processes and control systems
• Required are at least three years of hands-on experience in blow or injection molding, setups, troubleshooting and process improvement
• People management

Qualifications/ Skills/

• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Operation System
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office
• Good communication skills
• Must be able to communicate with others in English 

Personal Competencies

• Bend and stand in difficult positions up to 12 hours
• High level of energy 
• Must be able to work on rotating shifts, call out, weekends and overtime (if required)
