CONTROLLER
What you will enjoy doing
- Develops structures for internal reporting, cost control, and benchmarking.
- Expands and controls internal KPIs, focusing on production, purchasing, and sales, including deviation analysis and improvement suggestions.
- Prepares monthly financial reports for Angola entities, including Profit and Loss, receivables, sales statistics, working capital, and CAPEX.
- Monitors the accuracy of standard pricing given to customers.
- Reconciles books with eMIS reporting monthly.
- Drives and supports the budget process, helping site managers develop and control key figures and cost structures.
- Participates in finance department process improvements and leads related internal projects.
- Assists in the financial integration of new companies, including controlling systems and financial processes.
- Supports departments in building standardized pricing methodologies for commodity products.
- Assists Regional Controllers and the Regional Head of Finance & Controlling with accounting topics for regional entities.
- Ensures local entities follow regional and corporate policies related to ERP systems and data accuracy.
- Acts as a partner to Regional Controllers for AMET and the ALPLA headquarters in Austria.
- Strives for improvements and preventive actions to achieve strategic goals.
- Ensures high accuracy in monthly reporting, identifies deviations from targets, and follows up with correction plans.
- Prepares analyses commenting on monthly budget deviations.
- Provides support to Regional Controllers in all matters related to controlling, reporting, and finance.
- Responsible for improving, designing, and implementing controlling processes for all plants in the territory.
What makes you great
- Completed business administration or commercial education (university level or similar) with focus on finance and controlling
- Minimum experiences of 3 years as a controller in an industrial environment including knowledge of planning, budgeting, costing and KPI management
- Solid knowledge of International Accounting and Reporting Standards
- Strong relationship building skills, complex thinking ability and creative problem-solving skills
- High affinity for numbers and IT supported reporting systems (advanced Excel skills is a MUST)
- Open-minded and interested in working together with various cultures
- Fluency in English (verbal and written)
