Maintenance Technician / Operator (ISBM / IM-CAP)

1. Install, commission, and maintain the mechanical and electrical parts of machines.

2. Perform machine troubleshooting, adjustment, repair and maintenance, and monitor the operational state of all the machines.

3. Test or modify developmental or operational electrical machinery or electrical control equipment.

4. Ensure that all the machines are running to its optimum capacity with reduced downtime.

5. Trouble shooting and repairs (e.g. resetting of alarm, clogged caps / bottles, clean sensor, clean mold, clean water and air filters, tighten loose screws and bolts of mold, handling parts).

6. Participates in ISBM and IM-cap change over work activity.

7. Checks machine and periphery equipment conditions.

8. Records hourly production output, waste, downtime, and reasons for downtime.

9. Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) related to machine downtimes and quality issues .

10. Weighs scraps, encodes into Alpla Waste system, labels the waste containers.

11. Support Packaging Engineer in product development activities (e.g. injection and blowing Trials).

12. Observes Safety, 5S and GMP in production areas.

13. Fully complies with Food Safety standards and ensures observance of ISO standards in all related tasks and responsibilities. 

• In-depth knowledge both in mechanical and electrical technology
• Has basic knowledge in office computer software and the ability to learn how to use maintenance software to input data, research parts or in doing the daily production output
• Knowledge and background in ISO, GMP, HACCP, 5S and Safety are needed
• Good interpersonal and intrapersonal communication skills in order to properly communicate concerns related to production operation
• Can speak and understand English language
