Security Incident Coordinator (all gender)

We are looking for a capable and proactive Security Incident Coordinator with a focus on SIEM operations. In this dual-role, you will be responsible for efficiently coordinating security incidents and ensuring the effective functioning of our SIEM systems, enhancing our organization's overall security posture.

• Serve as the central point of contact for all security incidents, both internal and external.
• Coordinate incident response efforts, including containment, eradication, and recovery phases.
• Monitor and manage our SIEM system, conducting log analysis, incident detection, and response.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of security incidents and vulnerabilities.
• Stay current with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.
• Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations.
• Participate actively in incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Manage our Security Incident Module within the ITSM Solution.

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field or completed IT apprenticeship.
• Ideally Demonstrated experience in security incident coordination and SIEM operations.
• Strong knowledge of SIEM technologies and tools (e.g., IBM QRadar, Splunk, LogRhythm, ArcSight).
• Familiarity with security best practices, standards, and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow Platform are a plus.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) are advantageous.
