Inspector - Quality

1. Incoming Material Inspection

• Inspect raw materials such as resin, colorants, and packaging materials as per defined specifications.
• Verify supplier documentation, COAs (Certificate of Analysis), and ensure materials comply with quality standards.

2. Finished Product Inspection

• Finished goods inspection and Testing for Injection molding Caps and Blow molding bottles.
• Preparing shift quality reports and communicating deviations to supervisors.
• Handling of laboratory equipment as per defined guidelines to ensure accurate results and damage free handling.
• Inspect product dimensions using Vernier Caliper, Height Gauge, Magna mike
• Monitor molding parameters that affect quality such as weight, wall thickness, shrinkage, flash, short shots, etc.

3. Functional Testing

• Closure torque testing
• Drop test
• Seal integrity / leakage test
• Compression or top-load testing

4. Line clearance

• Support machine operators with quality-related instructions.
• Ensure adherence to work instructions, SOPs, and GMP practices on the shop floor.
• Assist during changeovers, first part approval.

5. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain inspection reports, test records, rejection logs, and quality checklists.
• Preparing shift quality reports and communicating deviations to supervisors.

6. Non-Conformance & Corrective Actions

• Identify non‑conforming products and segregate them from good stock.
• Raise NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) when required.
• Coordinate with production for corrective and preventive actions.

Qualifications / Experience:
2-4 years of relevant work experience/ Freshers
Diploma in Mechanical and CIPET - DPT/PPT preferred.
Experience in plastics background are preferred
Good communication skills with reasonable proficiency in English speaking & writing
