People Development Expert

What you will enjoy doing

  • Partner with the business to identify and address learning needs.
  • Implement and maintain a learning and development plan compliant with legal and corporate frameworks, including Employment Equity and Skills Development requirements.
  • Ensure delivery of mandatory training programs to meet statutory compliance.
  • Manage the annual development and training plan, incorporating innovative learning techniques and development opportunities.
  • Maximising the government grant through appropriate programmes.
  • Conduct annual skills gap analysis based on organisational needs.
  • Prepare and manage annual training budget.
  • Develop and implement transparent learning policies, maintaining high service standards.
  • Utilize information systems to track and report on learning activities and outcomes.
  • Support talent management and succession planning strategies to ensure long-term business continuity.
  • Facilitate coaching and mentoring initiatives.
  • Align learning and development strategies with BEE (Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment) requirements.
  • Assist in maintaining and enhancing performance review systems.
  • Analyse trends and recommend improvements to enhance employee engagement and retention.
  • Organize cultural engagement programs and events for all employees to foster a positive company culture.
  • Collaborate with HR and business leaders on strategy, culture, and talent interventions.
  • Provide advise both to line management and employees on appropriate courses and development interventions.
  • Evaluate the impact of learning and development interventions on organizational performance and employee satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Relevant 3-year HR degree (NQF Level 7) and equivalent Training Certifications.
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years' experience in Training, Organizational Development, and Change Management.
  • Knowledge of NQF and National Training agenda.
  • Superior PC skills i.e. MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint
  • Proven track record in leadership development and employee engagement programs.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employment legislation related to Organizational Development and Learning.
