Toolroom Technician

The tooling technician is tasked with supporting timely turnaround of mould tools after routine servicing and full maintenance of moulds and providing engineering based support duties. Attention to detail and quality of workmanship are essential in the performance of this role

Tasks & responsibilities:

• Tooling technician will carry out the servicing of moulding tools and other associated tooling.
• Good bench working skills. (not essential)
• Carry out in tooling service checks as specified; to report results on the computer system provided and to highlight any deviations from specification for correction.
• Storage of moulds/transporting to and from machines.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe working environment and maintain tools.

Golborne Location (WA3 3JD)

Days (Monday to Friday 7am – 4pm)

Starting salary £29,000 - £32,000 + Development & Upskilling opportunities / Benefits  

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in moulding tools, would be advantageous
• To safely carry out all tooling requirements within the company
• Using the various toolroom equipment
• Use of all toolroom equipment manual to a high standard of precision and safety not essential but would be advantageous.
• Understanding of 5s advantageous
• Awareness and understanding of H&S regulations in a manufacturing environment
