PPM Engineer

At our Mansfield site we currently have a requirement for 2 x PPM Engineers to enhance our Preventative Maintenance.

• To carry out tool changes on production lines, including any process adjustments that are required to ensure that the product arriving at the packing station is to an acceptable quality standard.
• That all relevant paperwork and quality checks are completed before the line is handed over to production and any special information regarding the job is conveyed to supervision.
• To carry out planned and preventative maintenance in accordance with the schedules, on all equipment associated with the production lines. Report any issues to the engineering coordinator / manager.
• Attend any breakdowns on the production lines as reported to them by engineering manager.
• To carry out sampling requests as issued by the Technical Department. To ensure the results from the sampling are recorded, and any suggestions for improvements are passed to the Technical Department.

Experience Required:

• Time served Mechanical bias preferred with electrical knowledge/qualifications
• Previous experience of maintenance and upkeep of fast paced production machinery and equipment
• Awareness of H&S requirements within a manufacturing environment
• Excellent communicate skills – written and verbal
