What you will enjoy doing
- Strategic management of global mold production at the international locations
- Management, supervision and further development of AMS plant managers and their teams
- Optimizing production capacity and reducing lead times through efficient resource planning
- Ensuring a first-class level of service to support internal project teams and customers
- Responsibility for the entire mold production process - from order acceptance to manufacturing, assembly, testing and shipping
- Coordination of tool installation, commissioning and service activities to achieve maximum customer satisfaction
- Implementation of best practices for quality assurance, efficiency improvement and cost optimization
- Budget responsibility for mold construction, transport and maintenance, including cost control and efficiency improvement
- Decision-making for in-house production or outsourcing, taking into account strategic and economic factors
What makes you great
- Completed education ideally in the field of plastics engineering or mechanical engineering (HTL, TU, FH, or other technical education with relevant professional experience)
- Several years of experience in the management of production or toolmaking processes
- Excellent English skills, additional foreign languages like German are an advantage
- Team player, independent working style and strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility and willingness to travel frequently
- Strong customer focus and the ability to build and maintain relationships
