Maintenance Manager CEE (m/w/d)

What you will enjoy doing

In this role, you will oversee all maintenance activities within the region, leading a team of maintenance professionals and implementing strategies to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.

You will work closely with the production and engineering teams to maintain high-quality standards and support the production process.

Lead local maintenance teams:

  • Drive implementation of key projects defined based on the global maintenance strategy.
  • Work in cooperation with the local counterparts to ensures that the maintenance team is well-organized, motivated, and equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • Supervise, train, and develop local maintenance managers, including Maintenance Technicians, Electricians, Mechanics, and Mould Technicians.

Maintenance Planning, Maintenance Scheduling and Equipment Management:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance programs for all equipment and machinery.
  • Create and maintain maintenance schedules for a wide range of machinery and ensure regular and preventive maintenance activities are executed efficiently.
  • Monitor equipment performance, identify potential issues, and implement strategies to improve reliability and minimize downtime.

Work Safety & external collaboration:

  • Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors for specialized maintenance services and equipment upgrades.

Budgeting & KPI´s:

  • Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while maintaining high equipment reliability.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including equipment history and work orders. Prepare and present regular reports on maintenance performance, KPIs, and budget adherence.

What makes you great

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Proven experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in plastics or packaging
  • Thorough understanding of technical aspects of different types of equipment and experience in working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Proficiency in maintenance software and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Knowledge of safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to Travel (~50%)
