Product Designer- Injection Molding

Technical Design

• Understand design intent, identify and communicate technical risks and help refine design concepts

• Partner with others in the technical organization to create high-end IM Parts

• Prepare plastic packaging designs for manufacturing via three-dimensional models, technical drawings following company standards • Ensure the Moldability of the Design ( Demolding,…)

• Consider Raw material influences into the Product Design

• Execute 3D-prototyping and testing of packaging Designs Concept Design

• Ideate and develop systems with a keen understanding of the human factors and end-user needs

• Communicates design ideas clearly and effectively by using various media

• Create attractive and self-explaining presentation deliverables that may include research, pack-concepts, renderings, and more

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and design or equivalent work experience

• 3 – 5 years of experience in Engineering and Design of IM Components in Packaging made from Polymer Material

• Extended experience with Injection Molding of Caps and Closures

• Broad knowledge of key manufacturing processes (Injection molding, Compression molding)

• Strong written and verbal communication skills within both engineering and design

• Working knowledge of CAD systems (e.g. NX)

• Superior time management skills

• Critical problem solver and active listener
