Finance Trainee
What you will enjoy doing
- · Review vendor billing information in the financial systems, ensure accuracy and compliance with the local accounting regulations.
- Support Finance & Controlling activities, including reporting, budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis.
- Assist with controlling processes, compliance, and financial decision-making.
- Work closely together with the company's purchasing department to ensure transactions are being recorded accurately, and vendors are all paid on time.
- Ensure that all accounting operations within an accounting department run smoothly.
- Prepare the monthly and quarterly accounting reports.
- analysis of all vendor and expense accounts.
- Supervise petty cash management.
- Review and update all prices for all customers.
- Enter and analyze all monthly data in eMIS and D365.
- Prepare monthly margin reports.
- Review and update quarterly inventory variance and update in system.
- Coordinate and assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Make any other accounting and controlling related tasks as and when required.
- Organize, secure, and maintain all files and records in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Process local and foreign currency payments, cash management and debt facilities reporting.
- Support finance and accounting responsible in taxes, prepare tax returns, and handle the tax inspections in collaboration with the consultant.
What makes you great
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical and numerical skills.
- Basic knowledge of Moroccan taxation laws and regulations is an advantage.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Customer-oriented mindset with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
